To support the Operations function by acting as the lead specialist for operational data, BI reporting, and insight. The role will bridge Operations and IT, translating business needs into clear reporting requirements and ensuring the delivery of high quality, reliable BI solutions that support operational performance, compliance, and informed decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Data & MI Leadership 
  • Deliver accuratetimely, and insightful management information through advanced dashboards, KPIs, and MI packs analysing operational and strategic data to surface trends, risks, and opportunities using predictive and prescriptive AI models while ensuring insights are relevant, practical, and effective.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations and IT to define, develop, and enhance BI reporting solutions, integrating automation, AI, and machine learning capabilities to drive efficiency, scalability, and smarter, future ready reporting.
BI Development & Management 
  • Act as the central point of contact between Operations and IT for BI reporting, leading the full lifecycle of reporting delivery including scoping, prioritising, refining, and hands on building of BI reports, dashboards, and data visualisations.
  • Translate operational processes and data requirements into well-defined technical specifications and develop high quality BI reporting solutions that adhere to enterprise data architecture, controls, and system standards.
Data Quality, Governance & Assurance 
  • Drive data quality improvement by identifying inconsistencies, root causes, and opportunities for standardisation across operational data sets, promoting consistent definitions, controls, and reporting standards to ensure confidence in operational MI. 
  • Ensure all reporting is robust and compliant, supporting regulatory, audit, and internal assurance requirements.
Continuous Improvement  
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve cost efficiency, operational effectiveness, and compliance, ensuring governance processes such as financial spends and community grants are well proceduralised and aligned with organisational goals. 
  • Champion data driven decision making across Operations by providing coaching, guidance, and clear communication of insights that strengthen analytical capability and support intelligent operational outcomes.
  • Support the Resident Engagement and Insights team to ensure we maximise learning from resident data, feedback, and survey insights, using these to strengthen service quality and drive evidence-based improvements. 
  • Actively contribute to the ongoing development of our customer segmentation work, ensuring insights are embedded into operational practices and continuously refined to improve understanding of resident needs
Stakeholder Engagement 
  • Provide analytical support to senior leaders and operational managers, acting as a trusted advisor on performance, compliance, and operational efficiency. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights, highlighting best practices, and guiding teams in using data to enhance outcomes.

Experience/Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a data, operations, or continuous improvement role within a business operations environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL) and process mapping tools (e.g., Visio)
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies (certification desirable).
