  • Contract: Fixed Term until 31st December 2026
  • Salary€57,224 - €78,684

We have recently undertaken a strategic transformation by migrating our core business applications to Microsoft Dynamics 365, forming the foundation for a modern digital ecosystem. 
 
Our technology function is undergoing significant change, with further business-critical applications scheduled to move onto the Dynamics platform. To support this work, we are seeking an experienced and delivery-focused IT Project Manager to lead the successful rollout of key Dynamics 365 workstreams. You will be responsible for delivery in a hybrid/agile environment, with full accountability for delivering outcomes on time, within budget, and to scope, while proactively managing risk, dependencies, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadend-to-end delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 workstreams (e.g., Finance, Customer Engagement, Housing Operations), ensuring alignment with programme goals and benefits.
  • Take full accountability for project delivery across time, cost, and scope, using appropriate delivery methodologies (Agile or hybrid).
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, resource allocations, and delivery timelines in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating where appropriate to avoid impact on project delivery.
  • Work closely with our external implementation partner, ensuring performance against contractual obligations, clear communication, and timely delivery of agreed milestones.
  • Drive adherence to internal governance frameworks, ensuring appropriate documentation, quality assurance, and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and support iterative delivery while managing cross-team dependencies and integration points.
  • Support change management, business readiness, and stakeholder engagement to ensure effective user adoption and realisation of business value.
  • Coordinate business process mapping, data migration, testing, training, and cutover activities in collaboration with subject matter experts and delivery teams.
  • Provide clear, regular reporting to the programme board and steering committee on progress, risks, budget tracking, and delivery confidence.

Person Specification

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative 
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills across business and technical domains.

Experience/Qualifications

  • 6+ years of project management experience in enterprise IT or transformation programs.
  • 2–3 years managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations, preferably in collaboration with a third-party vendor or system integrator.
  • Strong experience delivering projects in an Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment.
  • Deep understanding of D365 modules (e.g., Finance & Operations, CE, SCM).
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, performance, and governance frameworks.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (e.g., CSM,SAFe) strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
  • Solid knowledge of change management and Agile delivery in enterprise settings.
